Paul Birdsall is one of those guys that no one seems to have anything nice to say about. I mean, almost every online guru has been complained about by someone. But Birdsall has had dozens and dozens of complaints to his name, and that is bad news. The good news for all of you is that you can save your money by not dealing with this individual. The world can be a tricky place, and the internet is often a magnet for unethical scam artists who trick people into giving up their hard earned dough.

Now I am not calling Paul Birdsall a scam artist. But when you do the math, it doesn’t look good for him. Just use due diligence and draw your own conclusions, which I am sure you will find will be the same as mine. I’m sure there is someone out there likes Paul Birdsall, but we certainly don’t recommend giving him your money.

According to Paul Birdsall, the Holy Grail of lead generation to get prospects for your business has arrived. There have been many claims by gurus to achieve this but now the unlimited streamline funnel may have the answer.

I am a great fan of automated systems, however, many that I have tried in the past have fallen far short of expectations. The Streamline Funnel claims to be able to produce 10,000 unique leads for every subscriber. I find this a little hard to believe because there is a business opportunity attached as an affiliate program. As you can imagine this will produce hundreds if not hundreds of thousands of affiliates all looking for their 10,000 unique prospects at the flick of a switch to promote and sell to. This I see as a fundamental flaw in delivering on the promise of 10,000 unique leads whenever you want them. I'm sure you can see the dilemma.

I think the Streamline Funnel software will spread like wildfire across the Internet if for no other reason than the sales copy and the concept is very persuasive. After all, who wouldn't want a piece of software that could give you unlimited unique leads at the click of your mouse?

Paul tells us that once we have the software in our possession there is No need to bother with expensive Pay per Click, No need to bother with Solo Ads or Lead Blasting programs and No more need to buy leads from any other source. I must say, if this is the case then the ordinary guy / girl has struck gold. However, I don't see how that will be achieved without it being a 'scatter gun' spammy type approach which goes against my better marketing strategy judgement. However, Paul does say that the leads you will get are all 'Double Opt Ins' so it will be impressive if he can achieve that.

On the subject of double opt in.... I notice that he is using a trick that is slightly misleading to get you to opt in twice. Unlike the conventional way of doing it where you opt in at a website then get a confirmation email to click the link Paul does it the other way round. First you receive what I consider to be a spam email. The opt in form is in the body of the email. So, you fill that out and it takes you to a website to fill out the same form all over again. This is just an annoying trick to make you fill out the form twice... hardly double opt in. So I would say your leads are actually single opt in.

Paul also talks alot about Web 2.0 being out of date and the old school stuff being obsolete. Well, I beg to differ on that point. I'm generating thousands of leads every week using conventional techniques that I can teach anyone to do. As in most things, getting back to basics often produces predictable and profitable results. The problem is the novices are always jumping on to the next best thing. Traffic generation takes some effort. In my book you have two choices. You either work for your traffic or you pay for it but I don't see how $9.95 is going to do that.

Anyway, the jury is out on this one so I guess we'll have to wait and see. I will do a further review once I have managed to test the software thoroughly and analysed the quality and conversion ratios. I'm not saying this isn't a fantastic piece of software, it may well be. I'm just a little sceptical right now.
